So Shabby Pink New Rhinestone Studded Light Switch Covers

Howdy from Texas.  Hope all are well.

I've posted these on my own blog but thought I would share them here.  We've made our light switch covers available with huge rhinestones, if you would like, to add a bit of sparkle to your rooms.  Take a look.  I really like how they have turned out.  See them here at So Shabby Pink.  They are still available in all our other styles too. :-)

Thanks for stopping by!

Vintage Rose Boutiques Update

Hello! How is everyone today?
Something really nice happenend to me recently. Romantic Homes Magazine wrote about my blog in their September 2010 issue! I was so surprised and thrilled! I have had to pinch myself a few times to remind myself this is real!
The response and interest in our products has been keeping me pretty busy. Many thanks to Romantic Homes and all of our customers.

You may remember that a bunch of us ladies that own our businesses went to the January 2010 Dallas Total Home and Gift Show as exhibitors. The tractor trailor is just a dream of the future.....(yes, I Photoshopped it)

Everyone is still doing well and offering beautiful new items. Look at what they are
all doing these days ---

Katies Rose Cottage Designs
(below) has a new category for pearls!
Beautiful vintage inspired inspirational jewelry
Oh, my gosh.....I am speechless about these pillows she creates. Well, not totally speechless! All of them are different and are hand stained. These can be seen on Lori's 2nd website

(below) I SO like this pillow! This is my favorite.

I am drawn to this look of tapestry with lots of frills! She is so talented! Aren't these purses awesome?

(elow) I love Carrie's creativity! She does lots of one of a kind hang and gift tags. She never ceases to amaze me!

Look at this one of a kind journal. Altered art is very popular but Carrie
takes it to the awesome level. I love this! The colors are so "me."

This is the little pocket inside the cover that holds a coordinating tag / bookmark.

(below) When I saw this new rose, I gasped. Gorgeous! Erica has a fantastic
flare for putting together just the right things.

Erica hand dyes her silks and makes these beautiful rose pins. She works hard to make a unique accessory for your wardrobe, purse or whatever you want it for! Gee, I'd even put one on a lampshade!

Erica also is a graphic artist and creates all of our magazine ads. Talent!

(below) Isn't this beautilful? Handmade by Kimberly. I know I am a pink girl, but I LOVE this blue shade she created. Now, I am craving blue.

Kimberly has an endless creative imagination and her faux pastries are the best I've seen any where. Quality workmanship! Beautiful for table centerpiece, kitchen shelf, china cabinet or displayed anywhere in your home!

(below) We have some new rose necklaces and have just added new colors!

I am so glad you stopped by today. There are always new surprises coming from
each of us so come back soon!

We Have More Colors to Choose From

Color is what some of us crave after the winter months, so we decided to start painting our switch plate covers in all our pretty pastels.

Of course, we always have PINK !
Hope all are doing well.

It's Friday

After a very busy week and having to take care of paperwork here and paperwork there it's nice to finally be at home in the afternoon. In the middle of all of my errands and paperwork I've been steadily processing orders. And now, on Friday afternoon its time for a simple and yummy treat. It's time to make challah. No, this is not one of my faux pastries. I start with one lump of dough and make two challahs. Take a peek:

Here, I've finished braiding it. My braids are not anywhere near perfect but no one ever complains. It's now covered and rising. Baking takes place in about 2 1/2 hours from now.

I hope you all have a delightful and restful weekend!

p.s. I have some new faux pastries coming to my site within the next week. Make sure you stop by!
